ouch ive never seen rust like that on the chassis leg tho  probs just surface rust there id paint that up or underseal it to prevent it spreading

UPDATE _________________________ Since i cant afford to replace the wing ive started buiding it back up, Heres along the edge  And the big bit..  Typical as i was doing this it started to rain and thunder So heres a little shelter :roll:  Along the edge now rust treated  Updates will follow.. |

Been at it again. smoothed the rough off the primer ready for paint..  Treated and 1st coat of primer on the big bit..

Hi, I have been doing the same thing this weekend. Back rear panels have had my attention. Looking loads better. Then went to the front where one mud flap was hanging off. Took it off and opps!  That's a job for next weekend. Does anyone else think their car has a mind of it's own? I took the passenger interior door panel off it see if I could knock sone dints out (what an idiot I am?). Put it back on, electric window working. Took her for a spin, window doesn't work!!!!!! Got back home, took everything apart again, suddenly starts working. Is she having me on or what? Anyone got any suggestions to knocking small trolley dints out of front doors? I am stumped, have I got any option but to see a dent man? Thanks, Little Sister |

ive got a few door dints. i heard its easier just to find another door in the same colour, or respray one  Treat your car like a girl, have you been abusing her? It maybe her way of getting her own back

Hey, The person who owned her before me gave her some right welly! Poor girl.  I have done nothing but give her love and affection! hee hee. She has had two new front arms, front bumper, fog lights, rear and side lights, clear side repeaters. New four tyres and alloys. The plonker who had her before had a universal air filter on full off holes!! Therefore the mass air flower meter needed a good clean. I managed to find an original air box so she has now had a full service including spark plugs, air and oil filter, oil change. New crankcase breather hose (wow, say that after a few). She deserves it though poor girl!! Thanks for the door advise, I feared that would be the case. |

 yea if you repray it its probs a case of using filler for the dints and respray. |

when you sure the paint is proper cured, rub it down with 3000grit finishing paper. then polish !
