Straight fit. If you want more poke then try the Series 1 box. LSD is different, but the ratios are shorter.

Not sure on how easy it would be, but would it be worth it? As you may know you would still have a top speed of 120, you are probably best getting an escort rs turbo S2 box, longer gears, lsd and a top speed of 155mph I believe. Thats my plan for my 2.0 anyway. |

Ye must remember the Series1 is a homologation car gone a bit wrong. It was built for rallying, so the ratios are a bit mongy really. My thoughts were that the it had closer ratios but the final drive was taller therefore giving more top end. Just take the diff out and replace it with a S2 one if you want your top end reducing, but personally I wouldn't bother. For how often I'd get to stretch its legs. |
