Escort gti wheels are 15s, shouldnt rub with 195/45s unless your car is stupidly low. Mondeo wheels are 16s, they will more than likely rub, you will have to space out the back, poss the front and cut some of your arches if your lowered at all. |

Hello there. I recently got hold of some 16" Mondeo Cosworth sytle alloys, and went to a local tyre centre to get low profiles fitted. But when I spoke to one of the guys, they said that because the wheels are 205/** R16 it would cause the rims to run on the shocks and arches. However, I know that with some minor work you can put 16" on a Fiesta Mark 3. But as I've learned, you increase the standard wheel size (from 14") to 15" or 16", you need to put low profile tyres on which can be very expensive. Personally, I'm refurbing some 15" Escort GTi Alloys (they are the Cosworth styled ones too!) and fitting 195/45 R15 tyres to them. Hope I was some help. Peace. |

I doubt the 16's would run on the shocks and arches.. You space them out a little, and trim the arch lips or fold them. Everyone seems to run 195 width tyres when using 16's on fiesta as it reduces anything catching, but it is possible and quite easily to run with 205's |
