I am goin to put a 2.0L mondeo engine in my zetec-s and was just wondering if use could stick up a list of parts that are needed.

I would ask on the Zetec-s forum but they are useless lol.

the 2.0 is done on the si at it's cheap and more importantly easy. same goes with the mk4/mk5 with the 1.7 puma engine, except that costs more than 4x as much (at least!) normally.

yeah he has looked into the 1.7 but most zetec-s owners do the 1.7 and its not upto much unless its the racing puma engine. 2.0 is not often done if at all + its got more potential me thinks :)

i thought the 1.6 zetec would be the same block as the 2.0 just bored out ? + surly the mounts are the same seeing as they are both zetecs ?

the zs uses a Zetec - se not a Zetec e, iirc the Zetec - se is a yammaha based engine :?

other than that really not sure on the mounts etc

2.0L Zetec E from a mondeo etc is not an easy swap into the zetec-s.

The standard engine is a Zetec SE and is totally different I believe- the puma 1.7 is the same block and as such s an easier swap :)

to fit the 2.0L I belive all the engine mounts have to be changed as well as a lot of other bits, hence why it is not done very often :shock:
