Undecided whether to N/A the Zetec or turbo it......
should be getting a 2.0 zetec
Like the idea of a cammed revvy na!
Like turbos to of course,
, but would an n/a be more reliable?

if well maintain a turbo car can be as reliable as a NA one i think for the cost if you dont want to go stupid with NA, then thats the way to go as you can just megasquirt your car and slap some bike TB's and come cams and away you go  where as with a turbo application there a more parts to buy which in turn are alot more expensive to place if they do let go!  budget ZT's can be good and can be done  price up a budget ZT and a mild NA build

thanks guys, something for me to mull over, just everyone round here seems to have a turbo (minus the vtec jap boys) Would be a laugh either way. Also the person i am gettin my exhaust off is doing a zetec turbo escort, so being different may be good and see how it compares? |

Whacking some bodies on it will make it sound so much better than any chatter or dump valve that i've ever heard can give you

hmm i think my engine bay would need a rearrange due to power steering resiover (sp) placement etc I'm leaning towards n/a! |

I just love it when people want a ride in the R so I drive it in first off boost then plant it so their neck snaps back when boost kicks in And if you drive it properly when giving it some, you're never caught off boost. Plus mine has throttle bodies aswell so it sounds meaty enough from the engine. Throttle bodied turbo is the way forward

There was something not quite right with it then aswell, it's much better now Anyways, how many Zetec Turbo's do you see? I know there's not exactly alot of TB'd zetecs either but I think you'll enjoy a tubby better if you can get it built. Hear so many people saying they're building one, but it never quite happens for whatever reason, which is a shame. |

Yeah, obviously this is not going to happen for a while, due to lack of money each month, but the mortgage will go down when i get a smaller place so can save! thanks for your opinions,
