You will need to get rid of the standard inlet as that will only flow to around 160Bhp,so some ITB's with some mild cams and a standalone management you'll see 160+Bhp. your looking at around 2k to get this done!

hiya iv got a 2.0l 16v zetec in my fiesta si and when i first put it in they like 130bhp or something wank at fly wheel so only bout 110 at wheel so shit lol i got beat by loadz ppl even shity vtr's so i deside to do some mods my self on my car iv got ashley 4-2-1 exhust manifold decat full power flow exhaust fse power boost valve escort rs turbo ap racing cluch and escort rs turbo LSD gearbox splitfire spark plugs lead ngk plugs 2.0l ecu been remaped kent cams camshafts with springs "fast road camshaft" kent cams veinor adjustable pullys stage 2 head "ported and polished" at hi-tech near brimingham on rolling road got 161bhp at the wheels 186 at flywheel. so that fucking good. lol i beat type r's easy in my fez-si yes that right u type r's lover i kill them. if run it on better fual wot i do now i get 164bhp at the wheel lol. i only care bout at the wheel that the power u have. hope this helps ya little bit lol if wont more power turbo 220+bhp???? |

the cheapest way would be nos. the better but not so cheap way would be throttle bodies and standalone management and the redicoulously expensive way would be a 400bhp area six zetec turbo with a cts stage2+ gearbox and some very serious standalone management go see the bank manager

Basically unless your a Ford Fiesta nut it's not worth it. Aren't the FRST engines more tunable and cheaper? If so I'd whack one of them in. Not as easy to do as a 2.0 but more tuneable i think. |

frst engines only need a few bits changing, a remap and you have 200bhp on tap!

I'd get a 1.4, strip it, rst it up, bigger brakes, remap and shizzle and have it as a straightline beast for cheap.

if i had a rst engine id want a genuine rst and i aint got the money 2 buy a good1 plus i want a N/A engine at the min. im only 19 got lots of tuning years left in me yet lol plus im working my way up gradually and i like the zetec engines but thanks 4 the imput |

dunno about you but 130bhp is 40 up on the standard 90 of the 1.6 si my 2.0 is quicker than the 1.6 ever was. |

on the issue of a FRST engine, you always have the worry of the bottom end going pop (ask rob he spent £2500 on a "rebuilt" one and the bottom end was rattling after 4 weeks after the oil pump was failing and the head gasket went!) ZVH Turbo would be a beast

skim the head de-cat a proper exhaust manifold and a proper chip and you should see a genuine 150bhp |
