As far as i know best Fiesta inlet is an RS1800 one. Think you can also fit a plastic 2.0 jobbie, but not sure of any benefits over RS, apart from wider availabilty.

yer im guna take both fogs out soon and replace with cold air feeds. ive got a pipercross on at the mo and a powerflow exhaust! is there any beta inlets that will work with it? |

Individual Throttle bodies, whereas a 1.6 Si, has one puny throttle body shared amongst all 4 inlet ports, the conversion would have one throttle per port. Freeing up lots of air flow, and not being restricted by the manifold. Expensive and requires a change in management though. |

Exactly. Megasquirt (and similar), allows for a custom mapping set-up, and is therfore essential for enableing the use of anything other than the standard ECU for fueling. This can be from anything as simple as adding/removing something as trivial as a lambda sensor or AFM sensor set-up, to programming a turbo/supercharger or TB. a "superchip" (or similar) piggy-back on the existing ECU to give additional maps. This is simply adding or reducing fuel at certain points in the rev-range to optimize the existing set-up. The main trick a chip has up its sleeve, is significant richening of the air/fuel ratio at WOT (Wide Open Throttle)!! |

nah i think the 2.0 one and the rs1800 one are the same stick with the rs one  no modding required
