False economy with cheap tyres. You only have about 2" contact patch on the road withyour tyres. I realise that mega expensive tyres are often way over priced, but they are the only things keeping you on the tarmac, and when they have to cope with gripping, acceleration, braking, and steering, you are asking a lot of 2" of rubber per corner.
I'd always go for the best I could afford, rather than scrimp on something so important

We had a nice little chat about tyres at sexyfields, I think its down to personal opinion, as what ive had bad experience's with others reccomend, its also down to the car i would guess, i have some Nankangs on mine and there pretty cheap tyres but they grip really well.

Yeah, the F1's will cost me Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£190.40 and the Proxes will cost me Ãƒâ€šÃ‚Â£180 from mytyres.co.uk so nothing in it really.
