A 260 should fit under the right 14's. The ST24 278mm brakes fit under a 15 very easily so that means the 260's should fit with maybe a tiny grind on the caliper.

I have mondeo v6 278 on my escort, cossies discs have hardly any offset so calipers touch the wheels, v6 mondeo discs have 3mm More offset than st170 discs and escort rs2000 discs, mk3 mondeo discs have about 3mm more offset than st170 discs which is better for the mk4 escort but I had to drill the stud holes to 4 stud, I am interested in fitting mk3 calipers under my saphire cossie 15" rims, how much needs trimming off caliper?

i had the st24 278mm setup on my fiesta, they were absolutely lethal lol dont half stop you! but lock up quite easily.

im gona use a mondeo servo once i rebuilt the car, should make things better. im also using rs2000 rear disc brakes.

Rear discs are overkill on light cars, they will lock up easier and cause handling problems, as I found out lol

planning on having most of the car stripped but was gona put the battery in the boot and possibly a spare rim in the back like.

ive also got coilovers all round so should be able to get a decent set up with them and im putting a double anti roll bar on the rear end which should keep it stable...

as for the brakes plannning on fitting a bias valve and can set it up using our mot brake tester rollers in work.

Never had any problems running escort servo, 300mm fronts and rs2k rears... on coilovers... on the pickup, with no rear arb, which weighed less on the rear than a stripped out standard car.

People need to learn to drive lol
