Anyone know what the true power gains are from a de-cat. Was considering putting my magnex system on with the cat, to avoid changing it over every year for the MOT.

I think.. more top end power, loss of abit of torque.

Swapping over once a year isnt a hard job tho.. and tbh find an MOT place that doesnt do emmisions.. :)

Will post pics soon. just tweeking the bodywork. changed the lexus rear lights to smoked ones from my old si. Want to get my RST bonnet and splitter off the old si and get them sprayed and re-fitt them, that should sort the look of the front out. Maybe get my old coilovers reconditioned fit them along with my old 17" Kahn RSR's :)

regarding the flip paint,i think if you have other parts painted after the original job,the paint wont flip the same as the original stuff if that makes sense.

as for the mot.if i was you id lave the de-cat in and when it needs an mot,take it to new inns garage in trench.they will give you a ticket just on the basis all four wheels are bolted on!
