300mm will fit under 16's fine.

Still running 3 spec 2's and a proxy!

16" and 300mm brakes are fine lou, some even use 15" wheels with the 300 setup, Zetec s alloys for instance

Yeah i should of realised that lol. Wouldnt mind some white rally inspired 16" ones with chunky tyres but realistically itll probably be some cheap ones.

got paradas on the front of the ignis now.

not 100% sure on them yet but in the dry they feel awesome, but in the wet they are a bit slippy.

i dont really think it was worth spending the extra 7 quid a tyre over the toyos to be honest, t1rs are a better all rounder i think. although the parada is a better looking tyre.

but like i said im still not 100% sure on them yet, once ive got rid of the 5J enkeis and got some wider rims i will gain more confidence through the bends, its a bit wobbly on the standard wheels, so much sidewall flex!!

I put a set of Uniroyal Rainsport 2's, lets just put it this way i absolutely love rain!

In the dry there Pretty good, best dry tyre ive had.
But in the wet oh my these tyres are phenomenal, just came from work in the pouring rain thought id absolute go for it round a dead roundabout and didnt understeer or loose traction!

They sound good Kris :D Seem to be working well with your car setup! Wouldn't mind seeing how they fair up on my car. Might have to purchase a set for next winter when mine are dead :)

On this car ive had T1R's but they were balding so were started to loose grip quite a bit.

Falken ZE912, which now looking back werent that good just a good all rounder.
But these Rainsports are fantastic, i read a couple of reviews and basically they emphasis what ive said that in the dry there pretty good quite grippy but the wet grip is just outstanding, i think Jayrs over on FT runs them.

i'm using Maxxis MA Z1 Victras atm on the rear, very grippy tyre on dry roads and pretty good in the wet, my front tyres are letting the car down massivly, think they are nexus n6000s, noisy, ok in the dry when driving normally, put your foot down and they wont hold a corner nicely and on fresh tarmac they're nothing short of unpredictable

Currently have Yoko Parada Spec 2's on the front, nearly new and quite worn Toyo T1R's on the rear. What a load of absolute crap!

No, to be truthful they aren't bad (the Parada's), but they don't like the normal PSI I run my Pilot Exalto's on so I need to play with the pressure, but their grip and breakaway levels are a step lower than the Michelins.

Spec 2's were the best tyres I had too. So much grip!

The nankangs I run aren't half bad for budgets. They can lay power down in the wet which I haven't really had before. And the car isn't that powerful in comparison to a lot of cars lol
