nothing beats coras's and vauxhauls for induction roar... apart from french cars on TB's

panel filters will also see good gains (sometimes better than full induction kits!)

i had a filter the size of a house on my old corsa sri and it was really very loud lol, drill the air box up like swiss cheese and you'll get a nice little growl, imho a drilled box is better than an induction kit

has anyone got any photo's? i managed to take mine out yday, drilled some holes below the filter, re-fitted it and off i went...still sounds the same though :s does the number of holes and their size determine the sound?

Well, more holes will mean more air getting in. But dont overdo it. The thing with the 1.6 zetec is that's there's not alot of noise from the induction anyway, even with no filter at all! So you really wont be getting a lot of noise.

Did you get a performance filter? As this will increase the noise slightly as opposed to a standard filter...
