i need help with xr2i side skirts and arches. and iv been told that it would cost a bit of money to fit them and spray them and that the kit wont sit right on the si bumpers. someone tell me if this is true and maybe a way around its cos im not the only person whos wants xr2i bodykit on the car?

ive got Xr2i arches and skirts on my Si and there's quite a few more on here that have them so thay do fit, they don't fit quite snug on the front arches but some people blend them in, mine i just left them. 8-)

as i've said to Matt. is it not possible to trim the back of the kit, where it meets the bumpers so that it sits flat and level with them. maybe thats an option.
thats the main reason why i havent got them on mine. they dont fit right.

i know its not close up..i never really took any close up pics of it..i know the front bumper sits in a bit....i still need to take the screws out and bond a rubber block on the back of the bumper so it sits level with the arches.....

this pic is from when i got it back from paint....about 5 mins after i got it back actually!!...so the pic is a few months old!

sorry for hijacking the thread a little....the fitting hassle depends on how you want to attach the kit.....using the orig bolts is nice..but most now all have tossed bolts and to be honest drilling the rear arches for fitment unless properly sealed etc is asking for trouble...but im not here to tell you how to do things.....mine are glued using an evostic product called sticks like sh*t...and it does....get em painted....you may wanna take the bumpers off to line up where the arch comes in on the wing....the bumper will sit under this once refitted...make sure your panels are clean....apply glue...stick on and use soft clamps or use a mate and alot of strong masking tape!!!......wait for it to dry and off you go!

also while your there....sort any rust out....and underseal your sills...stops the mass onslaught of grot destroying the car behind!

i knew i should have kept pics of my car out of the way...honestly...other forum members oggling my car...and its not even finished yet!!
