hi everyone im not sure if i should raise the suspension on my si

heres an old pic of it at 60mm on gmax shocks and springs



the main reason why im not sure is that the powder coated items esp my gearbox cradle could get scuffed as the one on my si atm has a big dent in it from hitting a bump years ago

if i was to raise the suspension id swap it from my runabout which is on 40mm gmax shocks and springs as i love the way it handles but not sure if its low enough tho

so today i put the gti wheels from my si on the runabout what do u think?













do you think at this height (40mm) it would look good on my si?

or should i keep it slammed at 60mm?

Id personally have it slammed but if its a worry to you throw on the runabout s&s but then when it comes to shows and the like swap em back over to the 60mm
Its only gna take prob an hour and a bit to do anyway

i say 40mm

if ur worried bout the powder coated parts then definately raise it up

Are you sure the white ones on -40 Phil?? My old si replica I had was lower than that on spax -40mm setup...

I think you will be ok on 60mm with the Si, mine is about that due to coilovers, the only thing it scapes is the front splitter and the mid section exhaust bracket. I might go check to see if there is any damage to the gearbox cradle actually, and ill let you know

It'll look gay higher up. Its finishes the car off being nice and low, looks aggressive as well, Always loved this car for being nice and low with a perfect stance! Its just tops off the rest of the car

It looks much better at 60mm at it wouldn't exactly make the handling crap. It'll still handle well
