really thinking of doin this in the future, not sure when yet but i really wana do it. was thinking of goin down the easy way and droppping a 1.6 cvh lump in there. but now im thinking 2.0 mite be better, more modern engine, more reliable etc...

so am i rite in saying that you need:

2.0 engine
2.0 ecu
2.0 maf
2.0 fuel pump
zetec inlet and exhaust manifold
zetec engine mounts - also will these just bolt straight onto the 1.4 chassis or will they have to be modified/welded?

and what about the loom? can i just use the zetec engine bay loom and just plug it into mine or will i need the whole car loom?

i know some of u have done this, so your views/advice/experiences would be apprieciated. :)

a 1.6 Si fuel tank and pump would be fine, no ned for a 2.0 fuel pump ;)

fiesta zetec inlet and exhaust manifold :thumbsup:

and imo i think this guide might be what your after

i dont really know about the loom i know you'll need a 16v zetec loom, preferable an 16v Si one, but as to weather it will connect to your interior loom is another story to which i dont know the ending :red: :lol:

i'm sure jas would be able to help out as he seems to whiz kid of cars in wales :bow:
