its just the standard mk3 95 1.1 engine with no mods all iv done is body work but because the car is slow i wanna make it run better

a 95 fiesta 1.1 will have single point injection, it looks like a carb but isnt. the only thing to do is put multi point injection on it using a later fiesta/KA inlet manifold, but you will need to get a ECU capable of running it, you could go and get one frome a later fiesta or KA but will need someone really good with electrics to do it
you could buy an after market ecu the only ones ive ever used are from here

you could use the v2 (bit cheaper) or v3(easier to tune)
This route is expensive unless your going to tune the engine, ie cams, head, pistons/connecting rods etc
Whats your insurance like, if you can afford the insurance you can put a older engine in - not bigger unless you want and can afford the insurance. the carb engines are easier to tune because they dont have the ecu controlling the fuel.
The ohv engines are easy to tune because unless to touch the timing chain you dont have to worry about engine timing.
Also the ohv engines have there cc and year stamped on the front of the block so for MOT purposes if you inform them they must test the engine emissions to the year of the engine ie 1989 emmisions - but you must tell them.

it sounds like a lot to do to my first car also sounds like a lot of money needed is it worth doing..! what do you think i should do to make my fiesta perform better if its just induction kits or fuel treatment whatever but let me know

dont mean to sound harsh but at the end of the day whatever you do its still gunna be a 1.1, unless you put in a bigger engine. So my advice is save your ££££ wait a year and just get a car with a bigger engine.

afraid there isnt anything simple you can do to get any more power.
if it wasnt injection its alot easier.
all you can do is K&N filter, and if you can doit yourself take of the head and clean the valves and lap them in poperly, which will give you better throttle response but apart from that it takes money or time.
unless you can afford modified car insurance which if this is your first car i would doubt it you are restricted to what you can do.
being a not commonly tuned engine there arent simple bolt on stuff so you have to make stuff yourself
unless you can do the work yourself i wouldnt go further than a K&N filter. will have a look and see if a powerboost valve will fit. but this will only give better throttle response.
check the valve clearences carfully, will try and gert a picture to explain but most feeler blades are to wide to measure the wear on the tappet giving you incorrect clearences, garages get this wrong most of the time!

best bet is demon tweeks, they usually know what there on about. not the cheapest but all the stuff ive had of them nothings come wrong yet.
if they ask you have single point injection (CFI)
Still looking about a power boost valve but doesnt look hopefull, the fuel pressure regulator is fixed on the cfi unit, will ask about tomorrow, maybe a upgrade or something.
