its gunna be a while before i even really consider this to a great extent but has anyone heard about someone putting the 2.5 litre v6 from the mondeo (1995) into an si. i would love this as it would be something special.

I think ive heard of one..

My mate was going to fit one to his fiesta van..

But you'd need to sort the whole shell out, seam welding and all that bollocks.. fabricating new mounts and other shite..

And for the extra faffing around and extra weight from the engine it wouldnt have much more of an effect as a 2ltr :rolleyes:
