i have hust put in a 105ps 1.8 motor in my si as my 1.6 went boom i got the 1.8 as i could not get a 2.0ltr in time had to replace fast as i needed car but iam i right saying i get make my engine a 130ps same as the rs1800 by putting the following on

130ps (ho) inlet manifold
2.0 maf sensor
2.0 throttle bodie
130ps cams

You will need an ECU to run it all too now I don't think the RS1800 ECU will work due to PATS but I am sure it can be rewired and sorted.

Pretty sure using one of the 2.0 ECUs will do the job. So DEEP, DESK or DEWY should work.

so wat do i need to do or which ecu do i need iam running my 105 ps on my 1.6 ecu, runs fine no probs i heard you use a 2.0 ltr ecu please lay it down cheers

You can use a mk3.5 RS1800 ecu as these run internal edis therefore will plug straight in. It wil also have be able to run the power steering type thing that stops the revs dropping if you know what i mean lol, because the mk3.5 RS's had PAS
