My experience when i wrapped my manifold was that yes it was good at keeping the heat in the exhaust, but, where does all that heat go? It just transfers back into the cylinder head.

It made my engine run much hotter. The car felt better to drive, as if the exhaust gases where flowing better, but i didnt really want to cook my engine so i took it off.
