I've decided the bass isn't very good in my car :insanity: I don't want anything thats gonna take over the boot, just something discreet that sounds nice :) I've got an Alpine 50Wx4 headunit with Pioneer front speakers which are 120w and rear Pioneer 6x9's (not sure how powerful these are)

How do I know wether this sub will be ok to use with my current set up?



Its got a built in amp and I think it looks pretty nice. I know it says it should be used to compliment another amp and sub but I assume it would make my bass quite a lot better on its own?

I've got a FLI active 10" mate.. its not as big as usual subs but it does bang pretty hard for what it is. Only want £60 + postage :)

This is more ideal. A 6.5" 'Sub' would be pretty useless to be honest. A 10" sub is quite compact and will give you some chunky bass. If you ever wanted to upgrade too, its not an all-in-one thing so you can get a larger amp, or a larger sub depending on what you fancied.

:) Thanks guys. Java - I really want an alpine or a pioneer sub so that it matches either my headunit or the speakers. I obviously wont be doing anything untill the new year now anyway but I'll keep it in mind, £60 sounds like a good price to me.

those FLI traps are awesome mate 60 quid isa steal, zoom off here has one, used to bein his fez now in his scoob, is amazingly loud (infact if you want it to be deafening), and with the built in amp doesnt take 5mins to route the cables and get her running.. plus they quite compact..
