hi all can anyone help me i have a fiesta si 2.0 with a 1.6 gearbox and was at oulton park this week and found out it reved out in 4 gear doing 95mph ish will fitting the rs1800 gearbox help the top end or is there another gearbox that will thanks

Best gearbox for top end on the 2.0 is the diesel box

get an erst box with lcd if your after changing, will have a slightly higher top end but still have deent acceleration

the problem i had was when it reved out in 4 gear it i did'nt want to go for 5 gear because the next corner was on you and you would be in 5 gear for 2 or 3 seconds thats way a need just a little more legs fron 3 and 4 gear

Im on a 1.6 xr2i box in my 2L and my limit in 3rd is about 90-95 can easily see 110-115 in 4th gear.

What 1.6 box you using?
