has anyone painted the standard Si spoiler to match the car?
i was looking at doing this but not sure of the best way to smooth it for painting?

the last Si i had, i bought a colour coded spoiler.
The guy said he painted it over so many times to get the paint to stick.

So smoothing it down would probably help, but it's that funny plastic stuff all the way through.

Or you could get a fiesta RSTurbo spoiler like i did.
It's the same shape as the Si one, but instead it is made out of fibreglass i think rather than rubber. (So it's defineately paintable)

My last one was colour coded already and was smoooth, probably just sand down all the bobbles and spray the primer and colour and laquer and it should be alright.
