Right, after 188,453 miles my ford has encountered a problem.
The water pump is leaking... and as you may know on DOHC engines it is a really hard job to fix.

So i think it's time to get a nice 2.0 mondeo engine.

Question is, who lives near me and has the knowledge and mechanical skills... and an engine lift Would be able to help me put one in?
Also for how much?
100 - 200 cups of tea?

Im a level 3 mechanic and just down the road If you can supply the engine and all the bits needed for the conversion. I'll give you a hand doing it. Im sure i could get an engine lift too if i ask some people nicely Ive only done a few engine swaps before - on focus's mainly. But they are pretty much the same if not a bit harder. Silverlakes would be your best bet, or have a look on the net for a low milage complete engine. Silverlakes do charge a fair bit sometimes...

my waterpump had to be replaced not long ago, you might aswell get the belts changed while its being done
