my gti wheels are looking abit tired and have kurb damage so they need a refurb, is it easy to do it my self or worth getting it done profetionally :hmm: :thumbsup:

how bad is the kerbing? depends on weather you want just a quick tidy up and a coat of paint or as good as new, to do a quality job especially if kerbing bad and needs filling etc generally the tyres come off all adding to the cost which depending on size having it done profesionally could be 3/4 price of a new set especially if you needing new tyres.
however a DIY job rubbing them down well, filling and masking the tyres and couple coats paint can look good again

Powder coating wheels white by a professional will see you lose about £45+vat per wheel, and a possible charge for removal and refitting of the tyre too.

mine were 45 quid a wheel for that black chrome finish i had done... and it looked awesome imo.

normally depends on the size and design of the wheel too

Powder coating will be more durable, but it all depends on what types of surface you drive on often.

you can use p40 filler.
