Does anyone recommend the fiesta-centre's rear disc conversion? does it actually make a difference? :nerd:

as a kit its got everything you need to bolt it on..the one i bought for my then project i made my own brackets to run escos vented discs on the back...but that was going to be a track based car..so very overkill on a road car. the dimensions of the hubs mean you gain some extra width in rear track. i never got to actually use them. you may need to do the mk6 escort servo/master cyl mod.

personally id be on the hunt for some 130 spec escort gear. coupled with something decent up front and the master cyl mod...you probs wont be needing another upgrade any time soon :lol:

Is a good kit, but upgrade your front brakes first or you will end up spinning when you hit the brakes.

I am guessing this is just for looks, as if you have yet to upgrade the front breaks you deffo will not be needing uprated rears.

With that a good set of ST150/cossie up front will be more than enough.

what exactly do i need to buy to ugrade the front to the cossie set up? im guessing cossie unless any of you guys recommend any different because i have 15" wheels which i dont fancy goin any bigger anytime soon, and iv read on here thats as big as i can go.

Fiesta ST150 brake conversion is the easiest. The disks and calipers bolt staight on. I think 15's are also the minimum though, as they are about 300mm.
Can be pretty costly though because scrappys know that people want them for their MK3/4/5/6's and some escorts i think.

My calipers and disks went for around £55 i think. Add a couple of bolts/ washers and you could have the setup for £60 (the disks/ pads on mine were good condition).

Sorry, they were sierra 4x4 cosworth front disks/ calipers. They fitted my 15" alloys, just. I think they will fit nearly all 15" alloys, however I have heard that some 15" alloys will need slight spacing to make fit.

Cosworth 4x4 and ST150 are the same to fit, you just need to space the cossie ones where the ST ones are right. Not a problem really.

I fitted ST brakes to my fiesta so if you need any help give us a shout.
