lol i know ... dad pays insurance lol but its not goin in till im 18 ... what do u guys think of the zetec turbos? all the same as before but i rely dont know what manafold and injectors to get if aimed for 350-400BHP?

330bhp would be stupid in a mk3 fiesta unless it is a proper worked on all round car with good transmission suspension set up tyres etc

just put a 2.0 in :thumbsup:

im not even driving it yet it has spax shocks lowerd 60mm tyro proxies with 300mm front disks lol

well i willl wen it get with in a decent price lol but what would you guys say a standerd 2L with throttle bodies is 2 insure with 1 YNC?

insurance companies are not stupid...they know what mods will give the most gains. i.e an ecotek valve and an induction kit will net you virtually sod all. ITB's on the other hand depending on setup. webber quote 165 on a std 2.0. std cams no headwork...so thats 35 bhp up..and a gain of 25 percent in power..there or thereabouts and will levy your insurance accordingly however if you have any change from 2.5 grand for 12 months insurance id be suprised. As has been said. failure to declare is an invalidation of insurance. its also fraud... so once the police have finished raping you. insurance companies will laugh at you and tell you to go elsewhere...

tuning zetecs isnt a cheap hobby. A decent and by no means ultimate spec 2.1 zetec with upped comp ratio forged rods decent head bolts and MLS steel gasket. better cams but still running hydraulic tapetts in a ported head with std size valves and a bike based itb setup. that little lot will land you in just under 4 grand. thats still using a std crank, flywheel etc youll be pushing out somewhere in the region of 190 to 200 ish bhp....if i had 4 grand at 17....id be out getting me some cheap bitches everynight..not getting shafted by my insurance company and local petrol station.

yh.. im planning my build for when i get 1-3 no claims to build it slowly over a year or so like you said 4 grand...thats possoble in a year as i want to build a decent engine for when i am ready to put it in my car i dont want a boge job lol
