So my 8 incher turns up from hong kong, I pay the extra delivery I was expecting.

Great, power supply is a two pin one.

Never mind it probably works anyway.

*Goes and gets small electrical screw drivers*

"hmmm i wonder..."

anyway after a good half hour slow gradual strip down the 8 incher was ripped apart of its insides.

So i decide to build a new skin for it, a nice plastic one.

Please note:
I don't suggest doing this as you will probably screw something up.. All works fine for me.. just need to get that center console out and introduce it to a hacksaw. see my other thread titled "how do i.."

in-car from drivers angle.. still needs blending in and smoothing.
Wasn't enough room to fit between c.console and bottom of dash, so might need some more hacking up!! keep ya posted.

btw is anyone good at fibre glassing and would it fill massive gaps? please pm me.
