ashaly exhaust system (wot 1 for my 2 litter si)

Hi ford lovers the time has come for me to spend the last of my money for now and i may as well get the exhaust sytem sorted.
so 1st a manifold few questions
What model do i order the manifold for as for the 2 litter convertion you have to use the 1.6 item from the fez so i dont know what i have order do i order the 1.6i or the mondeo 2 litter manifold or could i use the rs1800 manifold.

2nd question
if i have to use the 1.6i zetec manifold wont that be just as restricting as the standerd 1.6 item i have on now as i dont wont to pay 100 0dd note's when it aint going to benifit

3rd question
do i need to get the 1 with or with out lambda sensor hole's

and 4th question
Well it's just to find out what i order the rest or the system from the manifold onward do i go 1.6i or rs1800.

any help would be gratly apreshated as i am itchin to order it so i can get by tuesday :lolz:

firstly ashley exhausts are ment to be a bit loud, but seem to be only ones to do a manifold and system, but it is possible with a bit of engineering to fit other (better) zetec stainless manifolds/systems as others may be able to advise, i done a guide to fit a ashley manifold to a stainless system.

also note do not be tempted to heat wrap the manifold as they are reported to crack then

and if you fit the manifold and system be prepared to re-fit all the standard stuff back each year for the mot as it wont have a CAT

so 1st a manifold few questions

the 1600/1800 fiesta zetec manifold Note that it will depend on starter motor fitted, as in guide Ashley do say they do different ones depending on starter motor but this doesnt seem to be widely advertised

I think the size of the Ashley manifold headers are the same on 1600,1800 & 2litre manifolds shouldnt be a problem

you need one with the lambda plug so you can fit you orignal sensor (assuming you are using the standard ford ECU)

and 4th question

dont know if they list one specific for the Si but 1800 one should be the same
