Need new engine due to head gasket has blown on the 1600si.cant find any si engines and need to find a zetec out of a different car.what car will i be looking for and what year?.does it matter where the starter motor is located?.not botherd about what litre the car engine is 1.6 1.8 2.0 hope u can help thanks

any silver top zetec engine will fit in your car

they came in 1.8 16v XR2i's/1.8 16v Fiesta RS1800's/Escort GTi's/Normal Escorts/Mondeo's, all these cars have differnt ltr's :thumbsup:

years tend to range from roughly about 1994 - 1996

started motor location aint really an issue as you'll just use the bits off your fez, use your fez box will force you to have a front mounted starter, i think a rear mounted starter would hit the bulk head( i could be wrong )

anyone feel free to corerct me on what's not correct :red:

With a 1.8 or 2.0 is it just a matter of dropping in using parts of my 1.6 engine
