how much work is involved?

i beleive they both use the same management, so would it just be a case of swapping over ecu's?

Doubt the loom would be same at all. Wouldn't bother putting an I4 in it, just stick with the Zetec.

viewtopic.php?f=13&t=12218&hilit=rs2000+engine

think it was discussed here too

viewtopic.php?f=1&t=11770&st=0&sk=t&sd=a&hilit=rs2000+engine

but from what i know, they use different engine bay loom, different ecu's, different mounts different pretty much everything

if you have the time and money to do it then go for it

Doubt it would be too hard to do, but the engine weighs more than a zetec.. the engine may have what 150bhp as standard but IIRC they are harder to tune?

The messing about and cost of doing all that it would be easier to fit a CVH Turbo / Zetec / Zetec turbo engine.

But as with all things, being different is good.. if you can be arsed with the hassle.

I'd rather spend time on slapping a V6 in the fiesta to be different :chill:
