I'm getting an Rs 1800 to brake this weekend
so was wondering what the gains would be in putting an rs1800 engine
in my si? i cant remember how much Bhp the rs1800 engine has though,
didn't ford make a few different 1.8 engines?
105 bhp,115 bhp and another 130bhp?

Also would the rs1800 engine be a straight swap over?

any help appreciated

Use of the RS1800 or Escort 130spec GTI engine is a straight swap.

I'd rather go 2.0ltr for the bit of extra torque, but the RS1800 engine is a big improvement over the 1.6, and keeps up with the 2.0ltrs fine anyway
