I am looking in to get a full set of polybushes, so that when i get my Si i can replace all the bushes as they are probably going to be all work out.

Basically i need to know, for the rear anti roll bar, does the Si have the D shaped bushes?

I have a second rear anti roll bar of an XR2i in my loft, which has the D shaped bushes but just wanted to check that the Si has the same?

Anyone help? :)

I underrate them thats why i am having two :lol:

Not liking the price of the 4 bushes, for the second anti roll bar, its £50.94 :shock:

Meaning that to get the complete powerflex polybush kit for my the Si, its going to cost me about £225, not liking the sound of that :(

But it will be worth it :)

I'm never having a rear anti roll bar again, I have another plan :devil:

The wishbones on my current car, went years ago, been an advisory to change them for the past 3 MOT's, still haven't bothered :lol:

All the bushes are split, i even got shown on the ramp that you shouldn't be able to spin the bushes, but where they were in two halves they could easily spin :red:

Where the best place to get this camber adjustable ones?
Whats the benifits of them?
Cost?

Oooooo, Sound interesting, whats planned for it then mate? :hmm:

My pickup ones were that bad the other week, when I took the wishbone off the drivers side, there was NO BUSH in it :0 No wonder I was having so much fun with corners and eating 5 sets of tyres in 2 weeks :lol:

Camber adjustable ones are sold by Ian Howwel, he mods them so you can adjust the camber of the wheel for when you have lowered the car.. stops inner tyre wear and gain traction again, cause when like me at 60mm your wheels are sat at a daft angle. He also does rose joints instead of bushes which should never break.. but for the cost of a few hundred quid from him.. I have decided to make my own camber adjustables with the use of some uprated bushes, not a hard job really.. you just have to trust yourself because if you cock it up you could be seeing your ball joint going one way and the car in the other direction :lol: :rolleyes:

I think Ian Howwel sells Ford wishbones with camber adjustables and standard bushes for around 120 quid, but I can make mine cheaper lol. And I use pattern arms as I see no problem with them compared to Ford ones.


And about the rear beam mods.. I shall not be saying a thing till its done :insanity: :)

I must be lucky ;)

So if my car was lowered by 40mm on 16's, would i be better off with the ones for £120?
As i can then just the two standard bushes for the polybushes and i would be sorted :)

talk to flo-flex about the bushes, i got a whole car set for 62quid. and there really good, no different to other polybushes i have tried.

Heard bad things about flo flex, but not had any personal experiences.

there a good brand, people just think there crap because there cheap, but there really good. the kit consisted of front and rear ARB bushes, rear beam bushes and front and rear top shock bushes. they also sell gearbox mounts for £55.
