I meant
round here, they SEEM to be all tossers, from experience, i know full well they are not all tossers.
I also can't judge on any other areas road police as i have been alright everywhere else, well bar southend (also just from the view of a modded car, since i have been standard no hassle) And its not one bad experience, i was getting pulled over for no reason every 4 f*cking weeks!
Also, my fiesta was nicked and they did bugger all about it! i found out from a mate it had been found burnt out before the POLICE got back to me. I rung them up and said i thought they were going to help, they said there were more important things to deal with.
Same with getting my phone nicked off me being threatened by two 6ft+ guys in yateley and they did bugger all, even with a description of both.
Same with getting hit and run on my moped by a woman in a black VW golf. There was CCTV on the roundabout (the meadows, mole will know) and nothing was done. I couldn't get her reg as i was on the floor and a lorry driver came and picked me up but he missed it to.
Also the turks who live opposite me drove into my fiesta and i saw them, wouldn't give me any insurance details and started shouting in my face and threatening me, guess what the police did? Yep, took them 2 hours to turn up to tell me they couldn't do anything as there was no proof. (4 witnesses to the event and a dented wing but not enough proof) And that the argument might turn against me if i reported it as i would have been seen as
"racist" which i am not!
So
excuse me for having
more than 1 bad experience and having a slight gripe with the police! (round here admittedly, might have to move
)
And thats just the
road police i have a gripe with,
On the beat street police i could not respect any more, putting their lifes at risk on the streets is something they should earn more respect for and definately, more money
The only thing is i wish that they put more proper police on the beat, i don't know what it's like round where others live, but its all community support round here and they don't have much in the way of power to stop the chavs ruining the area with foul language,vandalism,car theft etc etc but as soon as a real old bill car turns up they soon scarper!
I may have worded it wrong in the first place but here you go now. I have had more than 1 bad experience and feel let down to be honest. Getting crashed into, twice, robbed and having your car nicked (Same thing) and maybe having to drop a report in fear of being called racist.
Also, i did not intend on calling your missus a tosser (fair play on the tints lol) believe me, i could name people but i'm not like that!
And Becks, i'm sure there are dodgy people out at 2am in the morning, i meant it was
a bit ott putting sirens and lights on to stop me when there was no other car in sight, no car passed while i was there, and saw no other car when i left and carried on. A simple lights would have sufficed, as i was used to the drill by then as it was about the 20th time i had been pulled over. Also, i do feel relieved when they do worthwile things like stopping drugged/drunk drivers and TWOCers who nick cars, its just frustrating when you are legit and you seem to get overly hassled!
But can we agree i have had a rough deal with the police round here? Anyone else had bad experiences?
