Hi

At the moment I've got 2 6x9s on the parcel shelf, but want rid of these for several reasons:

Can't take the shelf out if carrying anything large
Spoils look of the rear of the car (standard looks best)
Are open to theft

At the moment I've got 13cm Sonys in the doors, and was thinking of going with the same in the back where the original speakers were under the grills each side of the boot.

What are your thoughts, any other suggestions, also what size will fit under there??

Get rid of your 6x9s.

If you have a sub, any mid/high range sound frequencies will make the bass sound less good (Bad bit of english there :lol: )

You want an amp that powers some components in the front (mid range & tweeter) and a sub in the back.


I've got a pioneer Deh p6400 head unit
Genesis Profile Components
Genesis 4 channel amp
JL audio 10" sub
Sounds good!

Im the same, nothing at the back apart from two subs. Soon to be ditched in favour of one really fckuing good 10" I think. Ive just got components up the front, I find it sounds soooo much better with that set up.

I run a pair of Pioneer TSE1075 Coaxials in the rear, but only fade toward them in if i've passengers in the back. They fit in the standard location, but obviously don't do an bass.

Be selfish, just get a sub in the boot and some components up front, and leave those in the back "eating bass" :devil:
