I am just starting with you tube videos and my videos suck big time ok got a cheap Fujifilm FinePix S2980 £65 of ebay as a replacement for old 4mb Digital Camera was told it was a good camera to start with but some of the reviews I seen not shure now .. Ok the idea of this camera is to take pictures of projects I do upload them to photobucket and post stuff on my website also make home facebook that sort of thing (also make some pornos) ![]() so so far I have this off ebay as bulbs were damage for 5 pounds I used nomal bulbs till I got some led bulbs which gives a good light but not tested at the moment also got a cheap tripod for the moment till I understand what I am doing if I show you some videos can you just give me some feedback on any tips which would help ... Firstly I dedicated video camera is the way forward as far as quality goes. Good move as far as a tripod goes, cheap is fine for most things, then fluid heads for pans etc. I will say the text in between does look poor like a pre set in a cheap/free video editor. (windows live?) By all means its functional but could be better, but a good start. |

Depends on a few things, I use sony vegas pro, but its a bit like photoshop as in you really need to know how to use it to get professional results. Its not cheap but that can be sorted. I do have similar work I have done but I am not allowed to distribute it. |

Use an elastic band instead of a fluid head, it can work just as well ![]() ![]() |

I've found a few tripods which don't like it. I've found to get around it sometimes, you just tighten the panning screw lock thingy majig a little bit, and it then smoothens it out. But I rarely ever do any panning stuff unless its on track, and I don't use a tripod for it either lol. Anyway, it may come in handy for someone to know that tip! |
