Post subject: | Insurance.... |
Righty folks, its that time of year when I have to renew my insurance, Right as some of you may know the current situation with my car and my insurance company, i'm not really wanting to go with them again if I can help it, they've been well and truely unhelpful with the whole thing, But anyway, I wanna know who you lot are insured with on your Si's and how much it costs and weather you are 3rd party or fully comp, Any help would be great, Cheers, Paul, |

While the XR2i is still my main mode of transport its insured TPFT in my own name now (yey!! ![]() ![]() An extra 20bhp and they feel the need to bum me. Damn it. I'm with Elephant.co.uk and seemed quite helpful on the phone. At least their call centre is in England. I was with CIS (co-op) before and was more than happy with their services and were good with my claim. However they just couldnt match the price for insuring the 2i ![]() |

Each company varies greatly from person to person. Im sure Elephant was the cheapest Scott could find, yet for me they were awful, absolutely. Tesco's were the cheapest I could find at the time, however, checked Asda a couple of weeks back and they were nearly ?300 cheaper. All of this is fully comp btw, every quote I've ever had, TPFT has only been about ?80 cheaper ![]() |

Right, got a letter through this morning from Norwich Union, about my insurance renewal, basicly as I have made a claim (Moped incident, in which they are doing sweet FA about) my insurance for next year will be ?1800, an increase of about ?750 quid!!! I really am having doubts about this whole thing now, no way am I gonna afford to keep driving atall at this rate. And all because some twat on a moped crashed into me, I think i'm seriously gonna pay this F*cker a visit very soon.... A very pi**ed off Paul. |

Right, i'm quoting around today, I'm sure all of you lot have declared your mods? ![]() But most companies say in their agreement/disclaimer thing that ''this car is not modified from the manufacturers specification'' or something like that. So whats the deal there?? Ta, Paul. |
