right ive had to come to the point wee im gonna have to insure my car ive just turned 18 and on my second 1.6 si i love them to much to get to the point werei want something else however,im now going on my own insurance and i got quoted 1800 which i dint think was to bad for no years no claims and being a 1.6 and with mods declared and im just turned 19,however i had a crash 4 month ago and i thort it was all sorted and now the insurance company is playing up and not giving me my years driving experienace even though ive not claimed om so annoyed cus itl go up 840 quid if i dont get my experiencem,is this ridicuals or what suggestions please because im rite undecided what to do ,

well if the crash was your fault you wont get your no claims bonus.. although if it was not you at fault then id tell your new insurance company that, and they will have to ask your old one for your no claims bonus if they are refusing to post it to you :)

your quote is probably the best you'll get with your age/experience and everything declared.

Ive just got my quote for £550 TPFT inc comuting, unlimited mileage.. for mk3 pickup.. which i didnt think was too bad, as a standard car was only 100 cheaper. 4ncb tho.

yeah was my fault but i decided to pay it through my own money not through insurance but there refusing to close the case and being dodgy bout not given me my years of driving experiance cus i was only a named driver for a year
.i realy can see why people hate insurance comapnies its daylight robery

Mate, go on bell.co.uk and add two female old drivers, Its £400 for me on an si and I
have 0 NCB because I was a named driver for years up until last year

you have to add two female drivers though or it will be just as bad.

P.S did a quote on a Lambo Mercielago (spelling>??) and quoted £2100, then a p1 scooby
and its £2800 haha it makes no sence, well I guess people are more likely to crash scoobys.

My 306 is £500 mods declared if it helps. And an Si is a bit cheaper (my old escort)

Yeah it does with me on any other company, it's just Bell mate, I'd
be paying through my teeth without them. Adding both my sisters
is the biggest drop (they are both in their 30's now).

im currently on my mums insurance and goin 19 soon so im insuring si in march on my own..got a quote of around 1500 which i dont finks bad for 3points and a crash...wasnt my fault but its goin that way with the company :doh:

My mums only just passed last year so to put me on hers costs more than doing my own, and visa versa.

MK3 Pickup RS1800 with everything declared on a like for like basis, unlimited mileage, including commuting to work, is around £460 before the silly % extra to pay monthly.
