depends on what you fancy, road car or purly track?, how much you want to spend, and what type of tracks you want to do, a light good handling 2litre Si is a good forgiving track car and can supprise a few more powerfull cars round the twisty bits if its not got the legs down the straight of a turbo car. i still like front wheel drive. also i hate to say it but Clio's,saxos, golf are another option, i think only thing i got wooped by was a 200+ clio and golf turbo in the wet on Sunday at Snetterton and thats with long straights anything with a turbo had problems getting power down. |

if i wanted a track car i'd get a 205, 106, saxo, 306 (in that order). Basically anything with a good chassis to start out with that can be potentially cheap to buy. The only reason I don't say fiesta's is i didn't like the way mine always understeered, and it wasn't a fun car to drive hard even with uprated/renewed suspension/eibachs springs. Depends on the price range really. ![]() |

205 gti, or 106 gti. as standard both cars handle really well, fairly easy to get parts for them, and cheap to buy. |

go for the corsa red top (even though the engines are well heavy) but 205's are meant to handle a dream because of how close the wheels are to each corner of the car. but generally i hate french cars!!! (no offence to pug owners ![]() |
