Ive stripped out the surplus interior of my Si and interested to find out how much it now ways so taking it to a weigh bridge later this week , its only got drivers seat but still got carpet and full dash, head lining and half a tank of fuel!ect.

Haynes manual said standard weight seems to be around 965-1000kg.

Well if MoT goes really bad tomorrow be usefull to know how much it weighs for scrap :lol:

I see the spare wheel is that in still? Id hazard a guess at 925 or lower!

I voted 900kg, but thinking about it you have 2 electric window motors and central locking!

Ditch them and go for keep fit windows like mine!

Im pretty sure the Fiesta book kerb weight of 963kgs includes only 1/4 of a tank

Besides, a full tank (thats 42 litres) weights in at less than 31kgs

I've put 950kgs but I expect you'll be closer to 925 than that, but I think your biggest factor will be your bucket seat. Without knowing the weight of it, and the seat it replaced.

Will be interesting to know what the old girl tips the scales at

You also have to remember that Fords loose weight every year.......... :hsugh:

There's still loads more you can take out, get hot chocolate on the CD player and get stripping! :xmasghey:

i wouldnt say you have stripped more than about 30kg

but then without knowing the original weight its hard to say.

im going for 950, based on the fact its 975 kg to start with

Remove bumpers and cut off un needed metal from behind them.
Remove sunroof and weld up
