as title says, i need a nintendo ds, just a nice dirt cheap one as its for a very young girl, im not bothered about the colour, cheers.

Not so much a cheap one, but I do repair DS's so if you can get you hands on a broken one I should be able to get it going again (dependant on problem) With that if you do get one and she does bust it I can sort it. I do believe game and gamestation do the white lite for £54.99 (used), failing that have a look on ebay and gumtree. |

Iv been looking at a few of the really old ones for £20, gonna see how high they go on ebay. On another note, do you repair phones? My misses has the same phone as you I think but the screen has cracked. |

Good move with the old bulky ones, they really are outcast these days as most people snub them. I would say the lite is probably the best for the money. I do repair phones as it is, I can almost certainly fix it if its a Sony Ericson but have done a few LG's to. If you confirm the model I should be able to get you a price. Good luck with the DS hunt, I guess you know about a cheap way of getting games? PM me for more info on that one. |

iv seen alot of ds's with problems like reading ds games but can play gba games, could that be fixed, also iv seen some some with a broken hinge, would that just be a new shell? |

Broken hinge as problem the best to buy, as you guess its just a reshell which is a bit of work but will look brand new, of course you can pick a colour which isn't standard too, my nephews is clear. I would generally replace the touch screen at the same time if it looks a bit worn but thats not essential. |

i saw a ds aswell that has a slight calibration problem so wherever you tap it taps slightly to the left, can this be rectified? |

I would guess so, new touch screen should fix it but thats a guess. Been asking may be able to get my hands on a broken hinge DS lite on the cheap. |
