Sorry its in the wrong place but just want some quick answers mods :(
Well as a few of you know DTR had full engine rebuild.... this was over a long period of time.
Well everything went together fine car worked and Alarm worked kind of.... it locked and alarmed its self and did all the correct functions it had just the sieren never worked??? :-? :-?
Thought this was very strange so took car back to have it looked at where the alarm was installed, they looked at the car and said that the alarm had been spiked :-? They said the only thing they can do is remove the alarm and send it off to Clifford to have it serviced or repaired...... I said fine no problem so the alarm was taken out and sent to clifford, would take about a week or so and they would call me when the alarm was back.
WELL SO I WAS TOLD
Anyway after 2 weeks i had heard nothing and not answering there phones i decided to pop over one day too only find that they have had gone under
There was a notice on the door saying that they have been closed down and to contact this certian person if you have any property in the building that is yours.
So..... after contacting this person i recieved a letter about the company only for them to say to me my detials had been passed on to another company and they are dealing with this all. Called this other company only to find out that they have been in the building and taken all of the possesions that was inside and but in a lock up waiting for there owners to claim them!
Well as i was perviously told the alarm was been sent to Clifford so i decided to call them and they remember a call from the company regarding the alarm ( i thought great they have got it) only for them to say they never recieved the alarm from them
Totally gutted
Back to the drawing board then, asked the company that now has all the parts to see if my alarm was there, but they said they only had radios and other bits no alarm
Apperantly a old work employee had been in contact with them, and had thought that the boss had taken alot of bits with him after they got shut down so looks like i am never going to get it back
The Alarm was a Clifford Concept 650, so i have all the wireing and bits and pieces for this alarm but no actual alarm part
Does or is anybody on here able to help be out at all with regarding getting a new Alarm part for this Model
