Post subject: | When chavs cant drive mopeds... **UPDATE** |
Got out of work today chatting to a few mates outside making remarks of these fools on a moped giving it some (well, trying to) around the car park, anyway thought nothing of it and walked over to the car and got in, pulled out of my space got a few yards, I see these kids on a moped out of the corner of my eye, next thing i know BANG, they've slammed into the side of the car and are on my bonnet, anyway get out, one is lying on the floor, the other has done a runner because he wasn't wearing a helmet. As this is a retail park lots of people came over and were staring, calling the police, ambulance, etc. Then all these little thugs come over saying varied comments '' Nahhh man, you are going to pay for dis bruv?'' from the driver, and ''He just got the ped back from the garage, 'es gon be well vexed'', Anyway, turns out there was an off duty constable parked up and saw the whole thing, and saw them zooming around the car park with the passenger without a helmet, which is in my favour, also turns out that his rear tyre was illegal (which the copper is trying to prosecute him for) which will also work in my favor, Only thing that wont is that it was a junction (in the car park) and I was supposed to give way to the little sh*t, but I only noticed him coming at the last second, also he was going way too fast to make it round the corner anyway, So, what i'm getting to, who is going to get the blame and will I be able to get this little scrote to pay for the hundreds of pounds worth of damage he's done to my car? Here's a few pictures of the fiesta looking sorry for itself, ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() Paul. |

sorry to hear that mate i would of hit the lil bastard.... did he dent ur bonnet after landin on it??? you shoudl be absolutely fine... if the police saw him speedin about then u stand a good chance of totally winnin... if u say i pulled out and he came out of nowhere it backs up the evidence of him speedin around.. |

I think if he gets the cop to say he saw them speeding, it will get him in the clear, because the accident was caused because they were speeding, basically. If they were going the car park speed limit, then chances are they would've been able to stop in time, but because THEY were doing something wrong, it's their fault. Well, this is how it is in the real world. God knows about the world of insurance ![]() |

Well she's booked in at the bodyshop for next monday... She gets; New wing, straightend and resprayed bonnet, resprayed bumper, standard foglights and surrounds fitted, and new headlight and re-alignment. Just gotta find some indicators from somewhere.... Still not happy though... Paul... |

If I was you, i'd buy the headlight and indicator from a breakers and fit them before, as the amount they will charge will be a lot! It wouldn't cost you that much for an indicator and headlight. |

Allready done mate, The bodyshop are good actually, they said "obviously you want this to be as cheap as possible, so if you sort out most of the parts bar the wing then we'll fit them for you" Which was nice. Also got standard foggies going back in again too... Paul.. |
