fords you gotta love em
bit of surface ust on my 5door si,
so trundled along to halfords, got some filler, paint, sand paper, block, though id spend a nice sunday afternoon sorting it,
start rubbng it down, put my hand inside the arch and give it a little tug to see how strng it is,
and the whole rear arch came of in my hand, one massive piece of fibre glass,
so after 3 hours getting jiggy with mr mig welder and lots of bits of metal, ive decided to cut the rer quarter of and weld a new one and do it properly,
i havnt got any picis yet, as ive been of work with arc eye (its hard to hold a mask, bits of metal and the tourch
)
i might do a little guide when i fit the rear quarter, as i dont reckon it will be to hard, bearing in mind im a 17 year old machinist, not a body shop worker, ill then get luke89 (hes a member on here) to paint her up again.
ill stick the picis up tommorw, im sure it will make some of ya think when you look at that 'ittle ' bit of rust on your arches
