Tried severall online insurance quotes, elephant, cis tesco to mention a few.. On average for 3rd party only I am looking at: ?1800 p/a and on average for fully comp: ?2400 I think the SI will be finding a new home. I have screwed myself over by not going on my own policy last year with the 306.. Jumped in at the deep end and now gona have to back peddle 
Looks like a 1.1 fiesta, or a 800cc mini!? Anyone else shot emselves in the foot? P. |

oh dear the quotes a bit much poor u although the mini option aint a bad one there fantastic to drive and moddify  good luk with what eve u choose (keep the si)

Shame Paul, but try Asda online! Mine is nearly ?300 cheaper than the cheapest I could find and who Im with! 
Think I may be swapping my policy

im putting a 2.0 in mine and its still cheaper fully comp than your tpft! have you tried liverpool and victoria? i was with them to start with and they were quite good! |

im finding it hard to believe 
norwich union quoted: ?1800 for 3rd party f+t on the 1.6 si with thatcham cat1 alarm&immob. They then quoted: ?1500 for.. Make/model: 2002 BMW MINI ONE Cubic capacity: 1.6L sense??????

mate forget about comparing it to other cars of similar engine size, the insurance group and engine are only part of it, cost of parts and labour, the nickability and safety all come into consideration. a mini one is very safe, good securtiy as standard, while the fiesta basicaly isn't, so many variables on top of this. i go with endsleigh, who are good for students if that applies. my first policy in my name is my Si, at 19 and no no claims it was 1400 fully comp. now with a years no claims (in a few weeks) it's 700, even though i'm selling to get a saxo vts, still with endsleigh |

dont give up keep shopping around youve managed to get some seriously high quotes their in my opinion! |
