ive just got a lovely rear disc conversion for the fez and some new discs to replace my front warped ones! all i need to do now is win a decent exhaust system ad a manifold and im done!

how much was the rear disc conversion mate? my dads wacking a 2litre in his si and insurance company said it would have to have rear disc conversion

that insurance company of yours is bloody weird!!! you dont need em, i got the kit for 140quid but its 245quid from mad for it in cornwall, there ads in fastford and performance ford!

or get an escort rs2000 set up or st170 set up jus for other options!

would it really uprate your brakes that much? as the servo unit is surely only going to provide the same amount of power to each brake line?

i always thought it would throw your brake balance totally out and you'd end up with wheels locking up left right and.. front and back ..

or rather, no wheels locking up, as it cant handle the pressure needed for real callipers aswell?

I'm surprised you cant buy up-rated drums

@ paul i know where your comming from, its mainly just for cosmetics really, but ive seen that it needs a brake bias fitting, gonna look into it before i stick the discs on wouldnt like to swap ends while'st under heavy breaking!!!

you can buy an uprated master cylinder from a lad off fiestaturbo.com for around 65quid that realy helps with front and rear breaking!

uprated drums would do the job but they would still look poo! lol
