without doing myself any serious injury  , or any injury at all for that matter,
seen a si in 1 of my locals and im still after 1 for the 2l conv. im not exactly too gifted mechanically but i can do a fair bit, after reading the haynes manual it dont appear too bad (famous last words ),
so is it do-able?

You have to remember Haynes do everything on a new car, so the bolts aren't rusted!
If the bolts are rusted to fubar (useually the wishbone ones) then it can be a pain but if there ok then shouldn't take more than an hour!

yh shud be possible, my bro works at a scrap yard and he can have one off in about 5-10 mins assumig the bolts are buggered
