found this on a site when looking for "morrette wiring problem" on google. "the only prob i had was the inners were not working due to the relay, and some dodgy wiring but all is sorted out now and working .." Might be worth ripping all that brilliant  wiring des made up; apart and starting from scratch, chances are under-neath that brilliant taping they are shorting out..
hope you get it sorted as they do actually look quite nice 
I think i have been "converted"
