I say get another Fiesta Si dude, old skool is cool but does come complete with its own problems for example jealous vandals!!!

To be honest mate if your worried about the fact you fix something then something else goes wrong, your best keeping your Si then getting any other Ford..... |

So, you want to get rid of a problematic Si to get an even older Ford, which will be without problems?  Keep dreaming!
No car over the age of an Si will really be completely problem free! The way I look at it is that everything that's replaced, is now good for another good few years! Yes, it may all come at once, but once it's sorted, it's sorted. |

does your current Si have a good shell on it ?? if it as id keep it running for as long as you can every car will have its expense at some point in its life and Fiesta parts can be picked up almost anywhere and pretty cheaply myself i would love a mint Mk1 or Mk2 Escort but ive poored so much cash into my Si id would be gutted to part with it at the mo plus now its all done i can stand proud of what it is |

Yeah the shells in ok nick and still has over half a years MOT on it, it will need a few spots welded for its next MOT i,e in both wheel wells theres a couple of small holes that have appeared and a tiny tiny hole near the Chassis number, its qyite good for living right next to the sea all its life. Tbh im starting to think along the lines of using the money to buy a decnt seconhand engine with a recent cambelt change and all the tooles i need for the swap and if i have enough get a mig wleder and all the bits so i can wled up the shell properly and makes up my exhaust which i have parts for lying about, still that RWD fun still beckons
