Hi, my bother is considering buying a Fiesta 1.25i SI 16v and I was just wondering what the SI is and what makes it different to a standard fiesta? Can anyone help? Because there must be something different, as the insurance is double the price of a standard fiesta of the same year and engine size. Rob |

well si stands for sports injection and theyr normally abit more up in power which would explain the insurance difference but im not sure what else is really different really |

ive just checked and the si 1.25 is the same bhp as the 1.25 zetec and it goes up 1 insurance group for whatever reason i dont know someone who knows more will ahve all info |

yea, SI stands for sports injection, pretty sure all zetecs are injection anyway, sports is usaully just the trim of the car, like might have some sporty arches on it or something like that. Not 100% sure though, just guessing. |
