thanks all so were do i look at buyin a new manifold? Will it make my car any louder? ( i dont want it to) ANd i take it there not hard to fit.. |

Ebay, Ashley zetec manifold. http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ASHLEY-PERFORMANC ... dZViewItem There the cheapest ones you can get, only mild steel (just to rub salt in it, my Stainless steel, raceland 4-2-1 was £135.20 posted  )
Shouldn't be to hard to fit and it will change your exhaust tone slightly, should be to noticable! |

what sort of moneys do you have to play with ??? TB's on ebay, he will sell for £600 or £285 at the mo that would give you a gd boost, or if its BOOST that you want the, can you say "turbo"!!!! not cheap but i am building a 1.8 turbo at the mo and iv sent about £600 - £800 so far and alot of that i didnt really need. this is the way that most peeps are going. the way i saw it is that i could have done the manifold....cams.... zorst ...filter you know that sort of stuff but i would have sent loads and not get a really boost in power, so i saved ( ish) and built a new engine. hmm well Im no expert but I personally would get the induction sorted - focus inlet, k and n on a cold air feed, then the exhaust manifold, de-cat and full system exhuast. Then cams. Dunno about management. But tbh after you have spent all that ££££ your looking at quite a bit, would it be worth saving up all that and buy summit big like a decent nitrous oxide system or a turbo??? |
